Ħamrun Spartans have announced the signing of 21-year-old attacking midfielder Mouad El Fanis.
El Fanis. last played for SL16 FC in Belgium. He came through the youth systems of several well-known Belgian sides, including Club Brugge and Standard Liège.
Mouad El Fanis began his football journey in Belgium with Club Brugge’s youth academy before moving to the youth setup at Standard Liège in January 2019.
He also represented his country at youth level.
Over the next couple of years, he progressed through the ranks at Standard, playing there at youth level, and then on to the U21 side by early 2021.
In January 2024, he made a move to SL16 FC,
