Gżira United have made a significant move in the transfer market by securing Serbian attacking midfielder Stefan Denic. The 25-year-old joins from Jedinstvo Ub, where he has spent the past two seasons playing in the Serbian top flight.
Denic, who started his career at BASK Belgrade, has also played for Radnicki Obrenovac and Zlatibor. In 2022, he contributed to Jedinstvo Ub’s promotion to the Serbian Super Liga before deciding to continue his career in Malta.
His arrival provides Gżira United with fresh attacking options as they look to secure a spot in the Top Six during the Closing Round of the 360 Sports Malta Premier League.
Denic is the latest addition to the squad, following Serbian goalkeeper Marko Copic, Dutch wingback Shaquill Sno, Portuguese midfielder Diogo Barbosa, and Brazilian forward Lucas Macula, who also joined this month.
