A goal by Emerson Souza in the first half was enough for Floriana to win the Old Firm Derby and level with Birkirkara at the top of the 360Sports Malta Premier, with 32 points.
Floriana’s winning goal came in the 43rd minute when Garcia passed to Emerson Souza. The Brazilian entered the box and scored with a low shot that beat Emeka.
