Manchester United are looking for reinforcements before the end of the transfer window, and Newcastle goalkeeper Martin Dubravka has been mentioned as a possible option.
The Slovak goalkeeper was not among the first options of the team from Manchester, but after numerous failed offers, the choice could be him.
United’s goalkeeper denied Kevin Trapp, then Jan Sommer of Borussia Mönchengladbach and Odysseus Vlahodimos of Benfica.
The Slovak is thus Erik Ten Hag’s fourth option, and if the deal is agreed upon, he will come on a one-year loan.
Dubravka has been playing for Newcastle since 2018, when he moved from Sparta Prague, and for the Magpies he played in 127 matches over four years, while he made 30 appearances for the Slovak national team.
