UEFA fined the Croatian federation for racist chanting by fans

UEFA – The Disciplinary Commission of the European Football Union punished the Croatian Football Association (HNS).
This punishment followed the behavior of the local fans at the League of Nations matches that took place between the Croatian national team against Austria in Osijek and France in Split.

It was decided that HNS should be fined 8,000 euros for fans entering the field during the match between Croatia and Austria in Osjek.

In addition, the Croatian federation was fined an additional 15,000 euros and the closing of part of the stadium in the first competitive match under the auspices of UEFA due to racist chanting by fans during the League of Nations match between Croatia and France at Poljud in Split.

It is believed that HNS will appeal these penalties for additional clarification of the decision.
