PSG advanced to the UEFA Champions League round of 16 for the 13th consecutive season with a 7-0 win over Stade Brestois in the second leg at the Parc des Princes, completing a 10-0 victory on aggregate.
PSG were already in a strong position after their 3-0 win in the first leg and were eager to add more goals. Bradley Barcola had an early chance, but his shot went into the side netting after a good pass from Ousmane Dembélé. Brest tried to counter-attack, and nearly pulled one back when Pierre Lees-Melou’s shot was cleared off the line by Marquinhos. However, PSG took the lead in the 20th minute when Barcola latched onto a brilliant long pass from Fabián Ruiz and finished past Grégoire Coudert at the near post. From there, PSG controlled the game, with Brest struggling to deal with their pace and movement.
PSG doubled their lead through Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, who scored his first UCL goal for PSG, sliding in at the far post after Barcola’s pass to João Neves was cut back to him. Brest had a difficult first half, and missed a great chance to reduce the deficit when Gianluigi Donnarumma saved a shot from Lees-Melou, and Mama Baldé couldn’t get the rebound on target.

Ruiz had another chance to score just after the restart but shot wide after being set up by Dembélé. Brest weren’t giving up easily, with Lees-Melou’s strike hitting the post, but PSG added a third when Vitinha scored a great right-footed shot after Ruiz passed to him. Substitute Désiré Doué then made an immediate impact, scoring within three minutes of coming on after Gonçalo Ramos set him up with a clever pass.
PSG weren’t done there and scored a fifth when Nuno Mendes tapped in at the far post from Achraf Hakimi’s cross. Ramos then made it 6-0 when Doué passed to him, and he finished neatly past Coudert. The final goal came from Senny Mayulu, who scored from close range after being set up by Kvaratskhelia.
It was a ruthless end for Brest, who suffered their fourth defeat to PSG this season, conceding at least three goals in every match. PSG also extended their longest unbeaten run against any opponent in their history, now at 32 games, and will now face either Liverpool or Barcelona in the UCL round of 16.
