Chelsea coach Thomas Tuchel was visibly revolted at a press conference when asked about the war in Ukraine.
Also, Tuchel tried to avoid questions regarding the departure of Roman Abramovic.
“We try to be calm, and we are calm in the center of the storm or noise that surrounded us, which we cannot control and we are not to blame for it. In the end, it is best to dedicate ourselves to what we love and do, and that is sports. I also think we have the right to do that. That’s all we can do for the fans. “To draw their attention, entertain them with maximum effort and dedication,” said Tuchel.
When asked about the war, his mood changed:
“How often should I say that? It’s awful, of course, it’s awful. There can be a no different opinion about all this. The whole of Europe has a noise in its head that no one likes. Maybe nothing has changed for you, but you are still trying to do your job as best you can, and that is exactly what we are doing,” Tuchel said.
Questions on the subject continued.
“Listen, you have to stop. I am not a politician. Honestly, you have to stop. I can only repeat myself and feel bad if I repeat myself because I have not experienced war. I am very privileged, I sit here in peace and I do the best I can, but you have to stop with those questions because I have no answers,” Tuchel pointed out.
