TADIC IS NOT THINKING ABOUT LEAVING: It is certain that one day I will be the coach of Ajax

Serbian national team captain and Ajax star Dusan Tadic points out that he does not plan to leave the Dutch team even after the contract expires and that he would like to become a coach after that.

Ajax is second in the Dutch championship table with 59 points, and the Serbian midfielder contributed to that with 10 goals and 20 assists.

“For sure one day I will be the coach of Ajax, I can still be influential on the field. I have a contract until June 2024 as a football player. Rumor has it that after that I will stay at the club as a coach. It can be in the younger categories or as an associate in the first team, to begin with. One day, for sure, I will be a senior coach. For now, I want to play as long as possible. The most important thing is that I feel good physically,” said Tadic.

For better results, the “ten” of Ajax believes that the club needs reinforcements.

“Everyone is aware of the lack of quality, but it’s hard to say, I don’t want to point the finger at anyone. Obviously we need more quality. In which direction should Ajax go? This is a decisive question for me and for everyone in the club. I want to win cups, which can be done with a strong Ajax. I wouldn’t stay here if we were fighting for second place. That says enough. It’s the first time I’m in a situation like this, that we’re fighting for second place, but this season it’s also important in order for Ajax to play in the Champions League in the fall,” concluded Tadic.
