De Bruyne scored in the 6th minute of the first half from the penalty spot. The penalty was awarded after a for a foul by Comuzzo. Højlund doubled the lead in the 14th minute.
At the start of the second half, Napoli struck again through Beukema. Fiorentina, after a couple of chances well denied by Milinković-Savić, pulled one back late on thanks to Ranieri’s goal.
