Thiago Motta appointed as Juventus coach, signs 3 season deal

Juventus Football Club announced that Thiago Motta will be the new head coach of the First Team. The Italian-Brazilian has signed a contract with the Club until 30 June 2027.

Forty-one-year-old Motta started his coaching career in 2018 with the youth team of Paris Saint Germain, where he had ended his playing career a few months earlier. His coaching path in Italy began with Genoa in 2019, followed by head coaching roles at Spezia and Bologna, where he achieved a historic Champions League qualification last season.

“I am very happy to start a new chapter leading a great club like Juventus. I thank the owners and the management, who can count on my ambition to keep the Juventus flag flying high and to delight the fans.” said Motta.
