Canadian striker Jonathan David has arrived in Turin to complete his long-anticipated move to Juventus, marking a major step in the club’s summer rebuild. The former Lille forward touched down in Italy on Friday morning and is undergoing medical tests before finalising his contract with the Bianconeri.
David landed at Milan Malpensa airport shortly after 11 am and travelled directly to Turin, where he visited Juventus’ training base at Continassa before heading to the J Medical centre for his medical examinations. His arrival has generated significant excitement among Juventus supporters, who have followed weeks of negotiations leading to this moment.
The 24-year-old is expected to sign a five-year deal worth €5.5 million per season, with an additional €1.5 million in performance-related bonuses. The agreement, which also includes a signing-on fee and agent commissions, comes as a free transfer following the expiry of David’s contract with French club Lille.
David becomes a central figure in Juventus’ plans under new management, with the club aiming to bounce back strongly following a period of transition. Known for his pace, clinical finishing, and intelligent movement, the Canadian international brings a proven goal-scoring record and Champions League experience to the Turin giants.

His arrival was confirmed through Juventus’ official social media channels, which shared images of David at the airport and en route to the club’s facilities. The signing is seen as a major coup for Juventus, who beat off competition from several European clubs to secure one of the most sought-after forwards in this summer’s transfer window.
Once his medical is complete and the contract is signed, David will be formally unveiled as a Juventus player and is expected to join pre-season training immediately.
