Manchester United’s winger Jadon Sancho could leave Old Trafford in the summer transfer window, and London’s Tottenham have shown interest in his services.
The new manager of Tottenham, Ange Postecoglou, highly appreciates the qualities of the English representative and, according to the media on the island, is determined to bring him in.
Sancho did not manage to make it into Erik Ten Hag’s team after arriving from Borussia Dortmund in 2021. He played 79 games and scored 12 goals.
After the break, the Englishman mostly got a chance from the bench for the second part of the season with the Dutch manager, who is not satisfied with his performances, and the club is ready to let him go with a compensation of 60 million euros.
Tottenham will try to reduce that number, so it remains to be seen whether the two clubs will eventually manage to reach an agreement.
An opportunity awaits the former club, Borussia Dortmund, who would like to return Sancho on loan, but that option does not satisfy the leaders of the Old Trafford club.
He played 23 matches for the Gordy Albion national team and scored three goals.
