Pioli: We didn't deserve to lose the game

Pioli Stefano, the coach of Italian Milan, surprised everyone with his statement at the press conference after the defeat at San Siro by Napoli (0:1).
One of the journalists said that the team looked tired on the field, which hit Rossoneri’s coach.

“I think we showed in this game that we are not tired. Certainly, we can play better, but in terms of physical strength and determination, I think this was one of our better games this season,” said Pioli.

Then he continued:

“Maybe we had a few wrong passes and then lost the ball in a stupid way, but I didn’t see a problem with my condition. “We defended almost completely from Napoli’s attack, we played solidly and we absolutely did not deserve to lose this game,” Pioli believes.

Milan is currently third on the Serie A table with 39 points, as is the second-placed Napoli, while Inter is first with 43 points.
