Manchester City shone in the third round of the FA Cup, and Pep Guardiola was very pleased with the performance of his team in the victory over Chelsea (4:0).
“Citizens” ended everything in the first half when they gained a 3:0 advantage in a space of 15 minutes.
“Everything was as it should be in our game, from the first minute to the last. We had the right intensity, we passed and we are satisfied”, said Guardiola, and then looked back at his colleague Graham Potter.
“I already told the leaders of Chelsea – they have to give Potter time. Every coach has to get it and every coach deserves it. I didn’t get two years at Barca, but that was because I had a player like Lionel Messi in the team”.
