Pep Guardiola Eases Fans’ Worries Over Kevin De Bruyne’s Injury After Champions League Victory Against Bayern Munich
Manchester City’s manager, Pep Guardiola, has put to rest any fears that Belgian midfielder Kevin De Bruyne may have picked up an injury during their Champions League quarter-final match against Bayern Munich. The midfielder was taken off in the 68th minute and replaced by Julian Alvarez, but Guardiola has since revealed that it was a tactical decision and not because of an injury concern.

City secured a 3-0 victory against Bayern Munich, taking a commanding lead in the quarter-final tie. Bernardo Silva and Erling Braut Haaland scored the other two goals. Guardiola hailed his team’s performance, and while he acknowledged the upcoming challenge against Thomas Tuchel’s side, he is confident that his team will be up to the task.
With a nine-game winning run across all competitions, City will now turn their attention to their upcoming Premier League match against Leicester City.
