Twenty days after Neymar equaled Pele’s record for the number of goals for Brazil, the legendary footballer died after a serious illness.
The news that he passed away caused reactions from the football world, and one of those who emotionally said goodbye to the legendary player was Neymar.
“Before Pele, 10 was just a number. Before Pele, football was just a sport. He changed football into art, into entertainment. He gave a voice to the poor, the blacks and showed Brazil to the world. He is gone, but the magic remains. Pele is ETERNITY,” he wrote.
