Paulinho, a former member of the Brazilian national team, signed a contract with Corinthians.
And this news was confirmed by the club from Sao Paulo.
The thirty-three-year-old midfielder is returning to the club after eight and a half years when he left for Tottenham in 2013.
Corinthians and Tottenham negotiated for several days, and in the end, the Brazilians accepted the offered 17.5 million euros.
Plus another two and a half million in the name of the bonus that then depended on Paulinho’s performance.
He later played for Chinese Guangzhou Evergrande and then sold for just under 14 million euros.
He also played for Barcelona and Saudi Arabia’s Al Ahli, whose jersey he wore from July to September this year.
Brazilian media report that Paulinho initialed a two-year contract with the club coached by Silvinho.
This experienced Brazilian football player won the 2011 championship with Corinthians, then the Copa Libertadores and the FIFA Club World Cup the following year.
