The coach of Roma, Jose Mourinho, did not like the fact that his striker Tammy Abraham was not on the list of the England national team for the upcoming World Cup.
The Portuguese points out that it is not normal to have players in the team who have not played a single match, while there is no place for Abraham.
“Southgate said Abraham was in bad shape to score at a bad time? What a childish excuse. He has to get to Tammy and tell him that it is not in his favorite color. Because Phillips only played 56 minutes and was selected. If I were Tammy, I would now go to FIFA and complain that another country is sabotaging my international career and I would ask for permission to play for my legal country, which is Nigeria. That is my proposal for him,” said Mourinho.
However, Mourinho’s proposal will remain just a wish, because according to FIFA rules, Abraham has no chance to change the national team because he has played 11 matches for England.
