Malta National team squad announced for upcoming friendlies

National Teams Head Coach Michele Marcolini unveils the 27-man squad for the upcoming international friendlies against Slovenia and Belarus. With the fixtures set to take place on the 21st and 26th of March respectively, the Maltese national team is gearing up for a preparatory challenge on the international stage.  Both games will be played at the National Stadium in Ta’ Qali and kick-off at 19:00.

One of the most intriguing developments in Marcolini’s squad selection is the inclusion of Carlo Zammit Lonardelli from Floriana. The talented youngster has earned his first-ever call-up to the senior national team, marking a significant milestone in his career.

Alongside the addition of Zammit Lonardelli, fans will also see the return of Jan Busuttil, and Dunstan Vella to the national setup.
