Marsa St Michael kept their championship hopes alive by beating San Ġwann Pro Evolution Academy 2-1. Meanwhile, Balluta Barracudas continued their brilliant season with a 4-0 win over Mqabba Albions.

Second Division battle heats up
In the Second Division, the race for second place is wide open after Birżebbuġa St Peter’s AFC and Senglea Gunners both won their matches.

Big win for Naxxar Victorians
In the Third Division, Naxxar Victorians enjoyed their best result of the season, beating Qajjenza ACJ 4-0.

First Division

San Ġwann Pro Evolution Academy 1-2 Marsa St Michael
Marsa St Michael kept their title dreams alive after a 2-1 win over San Ġwann.
They led 1-0 at half-time with a goal from Gabriel Felipe Hernandez Castaneda in the 21st minute. Darko Todorovski made it 2-0 on the hour mark before Naeldine Dhounaraini scored a late goal for San Ġwann.
Marsa are now just three points behind league leaders Għaxaq Wolves.

Balluta Barracudas 4-0 Mqabba Albions
Balluta Barracudas grabbed their eighth win of the season with a comfortable 4-0 win. Timmy Zammit Lupi scored a hat-trick, and Nicholas Borg added another to seal the win.

Żebbuġ Youngsters 0-6 Senglea Gunners
Senglea Gunners bounced back with a strong 6-0 win over Żebbuġ Youngsters.
Nenad Stankic opened the scoring after seven minutes. Philip Christopher made it 2-0 in the 26th minute, and Glenn Bonello added a third before half-time.
In the second half, Senglea added three more through Christopher again, Ola Olajide, and Ousman Touray.

Gudja Wanderers 0-2 Birżebbuġa St Peter’s AFC
Birżebbuġa St Peter’s won 2-0 against Gudja Wanderers to join Senglea Gunners on points.
Oussama Boutayeb scored both goals – one in each half – to give his side a deserved win.

Naxxar Victorians had a big 4-0 win over Qajjenza ACJ, pushing them up to third place.
Dejan Mihajlovic opened the scoring, followed by Rikiho Komatsu. In the second half, Christopher Cutajar and Ryo Hida added two more to round off a great performance.
