Marsa St Michael claimed the MAFA Knock-Out title after edging out Second Division side Attard Edex Kings 1-0 in a thrilling final.
The decisive goal came just three minutes into the match. A cross from the right flank found the prolific Lamin Jaiteh, who rose above the defence to head past Akarsh and put Marsa in front.
Marsa had several opportunities to extend their lead, but both Moses Nwankwo and Seedy Fofana were wasteful in front of goal.
At the other end, Marsa goalkeeper Alvarez Rojas was outstanding, producing crucial saves to deny Ali Oularbi and Ifeanyi Wisdom.
As the clock ticked down, Attard pushed forward in search of an equaliser, but Marsa’s defence stood firm to preserve their slender advantage.
At the final whistle, celebrations erupted as Marsa captain Nikola Neskovic lifted the trophy, presented by MFA Vice-President Matthew Paris.
The match brought a fitting close to a highly entertaining MAFA season, filled with exciting games and memorable moments.
