Polish striker Robert Lewandowski reflected on his transfer from Bayern to Barcelona, and pointed out that his former club “invents a lot of dreams about him”.
The Polish goalscorer got his wish and signed for the Blaugrana, but his transfer was not without drama.
Lewandowski was asked if he decided to move to Barca at the moment when information appeared that Erling Haaland could arrive from Borussia.
– No, it has nothing to do with Erling. Truth is most important. I don’t want to say what exactly happened. But if the question is whether I made the decision because of him, no, it wouldn’t be a problem if he moved to Bayern – Lewandowski said.
