Atletico Madrid have officially signed Italy striker Giacomo Raspadori from Napoli on a five-year deal. According to reports from Italy, the transfer cost around €26 million.
Raspadori started his career at Sassuolo before joining Napoli on loan in 2022. He helped the team win the Serie A title in his first season, and Napoli made the move permanent afterwards.
Now 25, Raspadori won a second Serie A title with Napoli last season. He played 88 league games for the club and scored 13 goals, though he often came off the bench rather than starting matches.
Raspadori was also part of Italy’s squad that won the European Championship in 2020. He has scored 9 goals in 40 appearances for the national team.
