Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp is disappointed after the new injury of Luis Diaz.
Diaz was injured last Sunday during training for the team’s preparations in the United Arab Emirates.
“It is certainly a big disappointment for all of us, as well as for him. It happened for no reason in training. At first, there was nothing, and then he felt something. The next day he didn’t feel much of the injury, but we wanted to be careful and said he should have a look. Then we got the news and it was a real slap in the face. But that’s the way it is now,” Klopp said, Sky reported.
Diaz has been absent since injuring his knee in the defeat against Arsenal (2:3) on October 9, but he was preparing to return to the field.
Before getting injured in October, the Colombian footballer played 12 games, scored four goals and had three assists.
