Kai Havertz, the soccer player of the German national team, estimated today that the upcoming match with Spain at the World Cup in Qatar could be a turning point for his team, after the defeat against Japan at the start of the championship.
– We are not having a very good time at the moment, but the game against Spain could be a turning point for us. We dreamed of playing such a match – Havertz told reporters before the match that will be played on Sunday at 20:00 in the second round of Group E.
Havertz added that he understands the criticism of the German team after the defeat against Japan (1:2), but adds that he “doesn’t care”.
– The focus is on the game on Sunday and I don’t care what happened in the past. There is no point in thinking, or thinking negatively – he said.
At the start of the championship, the Spanish national team defeated Costa Rica 7:0, which will meet Japan in the second round, on Sunday at 11:00 AM.
