“I hope that one day I will get up from my seat at the Nou Camp and say goodbye to Messi as he deserves. I know that Laporta and Messi will try everything to get Leo back to Barcelona. I hope that Messi and his family will receive the love of Barcelona fans, as well as gratitude and respect for everything he has done for the club,” Guardiola said.
He pointed out that Messi is the best player of all time, and added that Barcelona exploded in the last 12 years with the Argentinian footballer.
“I’m not talking about numbers here, but about participation in the game, the beauty of his game, his efficiency, everything,” said the manager of Manchester City.
