Germany and England played an interesting match in London.

However, England failed to keep a clean sheet and win. The match point and draw for the Germany were brought by Havertz in the 87th minute after an assist by Gnabry.
After the group stage, Italy went to the next stage of the League of Nations with 11 points, Hungary was second with 10, Germany third with seven, while the English were eliminated with only three points won and no victory.
