Manchester City’s biggest signing this summer, Erling Haaland, believes that it won’t be too difficult for him to get used to the Premier League.
On the eve of this season, the Norwegian arrived in the ranks of the champions of England from Borussia Dortmund.
“We will see about the adjustment. People need time. We’ll see, but I’m not worried. Such is the life of a footballer, you have to live with it. You are some kind of entertainer. You are judged every Sunday for what you do on the field and you have to show yourself and do your best,” Haaland told Sky.
Erling played 89 games in the jersey of the “The Millionaires”, and scored 86 goals.
“I can improve in everything. If you think I’m good at one thing, I can always be better. I have to do that. As a young player, when you play for coach Pep Guardiola, for the best club in England, you have to keep developing and improving in many things. That’s what I like a lot about football, you can always develop, you can always improve the game”, said Erling Haaland.
At the start of the new season, City will host West Ham. Haaland is expected to play from the first minute.
“I can’t wait to feel the game, the pace. It will be tough, but that’s the charming thing about the Premier League. It’s a beautiful, tough competition and that’s why it’s the most popular league in the world,” he added.
