NBA champion, Iman Shumpert, arrested for 170 grams of marijuana

The former NBA champion with the Cleveland Cavaliers, Iman Shumpert, was arrested at the airport in Dallas because of the 170 grams of marijuana he was carrying with him.

For this crime, the former Knicks, Cavaliers, Kings, Rockets and Nets player faces up to two years in prison, as well as a fine of ten thousand dollars.

The last time Shumpert played was in the 2020/2021 season when he appeared in only two games in the Brooklyn Nets jersey.

He has been in the NBA since 2011, when he was drafted by the New York Knicks, and won a championship ring with Cleveland in 2016.

Shumpert averaged 7.2 points and 3.3 rebounds and was known for his excellent defensive play.
