Former Czech International Tomas Rosicky is closely associated with three clubs: Sparta Prague, Borussia Dortmund, and Arsenal. It now seems that the former midfielder could skip his time at Borussia Dortmund and move directly from Prague to London for the next stage of his career. According to Seznam Zprav and The Guardian, Arsenal are one of the favourites to offer Rosicky the vacant role of sporting director.
His competitors for the position are said to be Luis Campos and Phil Giles.
Campos, a highly skilled Portuguese, is currently an advisor at PSG, after previously enjoying success at Monaco, where he helped develop Kylian Mbappe. On the other hand, Giles, who is head of sport at Brentford, is known for his expertise in data.

If Rosicky leaves Sparta, Tomas Sivok would be the likely replacement. Sivok, who played under Rosicky for the national team, is now Sparta’s sporting manager after moving to the club with Rosicky. Sivok has briefly held the role of sporting director before, though he had a fallout with the then-owner at Dynamo Ceske Budejovice and later moved to Sparta.
Rosicky spent most of his playing career at Arsenal. Despite frequent injuries, he played 246 matches for the club, scoring 28 goals and providing 23 assists.
