Napoli are on the verge of finalising the transfer of Manchester United’s striker, Rasmus Hojlund. The two clubs are ironing out the final details before Hojlund undergoes his medical examination.
Napoli have been leading the race for Hojlund throughout the negotiations, despite reports earlier suggesting that RB Leipzig had overtaken them. However, reliable sources confirm that Napoli remained in control, with both Hojlund and Manchester United eager to complete the deal.
The striker has been Napoli’s top target since Romelu Lukaku’s injury, and now, the deal is almost sealed, with only a few formalities left to finalise the transfer.
As part of the agreement, Manchester United will hold a 5% clause should Hojlund be sold in the future.
Tonight, Napoli will return to action at the Stadio Maradona, hosting Cagliari.
