Mauricio Pochettino has parted ways with Chelsea by mutual agreement after just one season at Stamford Bridge.
The former Tottenham manager joined the Blues last summer on a two-year contract, but the Argentine is now leaving. In recent weeks, there has been growing uncertainty about his future, with Pochettino making several remarks during press conferences, including a pointed comment that this was ‘not my team’ after last week’s 2-1 win over Brighton.
It was widely known that the club intended to conduct an end-of-season review to reflect on this campaign, where Chelsea finished sixth after closing it impressively with five consecutive victories.
