The French football player of Barcelona, Ousmane Dembele, is ready for a lower salary in order to stay and sign a new contract with the club, Sky reported today.
This is a significant turning point in the relations between the players and Barcelona after the Catalan club tried to sell the midfielder in January.
Dembele has been a regular member of Barcelona’s first team lately, and during the winter transfer window, he was in contact with Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain.
According to media reports, the 24-year-old French footballer wants to stay at the club, after striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang came from Arsenal in January.
After 33 games played, Barcelona is second on the Primera table with 63 points.
