Lingard joins Corinthians after spending two seasons with South Korean club FC Seoul. During his time in South Korea, the England international scored 16 goals.
The 33 year old midfielder began his professional career at Manchester United after progressing through the club’s youth academy. During his time at the club, he won the FA Cup, the League Cup and the UEFA Europa League.

Lingard left Manchester United and later joined Nottingham Forest for the 2023 Premier League season. In that campaign he made 17 league appearances but did not record a goal or an assist before moving to FC Seoul in 2024.
Corinthians currently sit third in Brazil’s Serie A standings. Lingard could become available for selection in upcoming fixtures as the club continues its domestic campaign.
The team’s next match is scheduled for 11 March, when Corinthians host Coritiba in the Brazilian Serie A.
Lingard’s move adds further international experience to the Corinthians squad as the club continues its season in Brazil’s top division.
