The manager of Tottenham, Antonio Conte, believes that his footballer Son will be ready to play at the World Cup.
Son underwent surgery on Friday due to a fractured eye socket, which put his appearance at the World Cup in jeopardy.
“I sent him a message after the operation. Son is really disappointed about the whole situation and I hope he recovers well and plays in the World Cup. I was also a player and I know how important it is to play in the World Cup,” said Conte.
South Korea starts the competition on November 24 with a match against Uruguay, and Group H also includes Portugal and Ghana.
