Raphael Varane is ready for the World Cup

The French defender Raphael Varane, although according to the first estimates he should have missed the World Cup, is recovering from his injury faster than expected and will be ready to help his teammates in defending the title of world champion.

France coach Didier Deschamps can thus breathe a sigh of relief because he will have at his disposal one of the members of the generation that won the title in Russia in 2018.

Varane suffered an injury recently in a game against Chelsea on October 22, when he left the game in tears. However, fortunately for Varane, it turned out that it was not a serious injury, and he will return to the field faster than he initially expected.

The Frenchman is expected to be fit for the club’s last two matches before the World Cup break against Aston Villa in the League Cup and Fulham in the Premier League.

Didier Deschamps will announce the roster of the French national team on Wednesday.
