The Monaco football captain, Wissam Ben Yedder, has been accused of a sexual assault that took place at the beginning of this Sunday on the Cote d’Azur.
The public prosecutor from Nice said that there were two reports of rape and two victims.
“We do not know the identity of the other suspect.” said the judge, and “France info” reported that it could be Wissam’s younger brother.
It was also reported that the girls are 19 and 20 years old and that they reported Ben Yedder and his brother for “imposed sexual acts” after the evening they spent together.
Wissam Ben Yedder played 19 matches for the French national team and scored three times.
In April, the court in Seville sentenced him to six months in prison, as well as a fine of 135,000 euros for tax evasion.
