Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti was satisfied with the great victory in the semi-final of the King’s Cup against Barcelona at the Nou Camp (4:0), and he especially highlighted forwards Vinicius Junior and Karim Benzema.
Vinicius Junior scored the leading goal and assisted the last one, while Karim Benzema scored a hat-trick in the second half.
Ancelotti pointed out after the match that the result at the end shows the real picture of the situation on the field.
“We played a great game and it was a deserved result. We did a great job in the second half, in a very difficult game. Whenever we had the opportunity, we created danger in transitions”, said Ancelotti and continued about the tandem of attackers:
“We fulfilled everything, both offensively and defensively. Vinicius complied, scored a goal, and Benzema also returned. Today he was determined as always”.
Real Madrid will play against Osasuna in the final, and that match is scheduled for May 6 in Seville.
