ALLEGRI: We were persistent and kept calm

The Juventus team, led by Massimiliano Allegri from the bench, drew in the first semi-final match of the Europa League against Sevilla.

Juventus failed to celebrate in Turin against Sevilla, but considering the course of the match, even the final 1:1 cannot be considered a failure, as can be concluded from the presentation of the coach of the “old lady” Massimiliano Allegri.

“We played well even before the goal. The movement was great, but we made a lot of mistakes in front of the penalty area. After one such, there followed a counterattack and a goal by Sevilla. We fought well in the continuation and kept our composure. We didn’t lose our heads and deservedly reached the goal,’ said the Juventus coach.

He is ready for the second leg, as well as for potential overtime and penalties.

Sevilla defended very well, they were very aggressive and their attackers run like crazy in high pressing. We know what damage they can do to us if we give them space. The second leg will last 95 minutes, maybe 120, but we want the final,’ Allegri was clear.
