The winners of The Best FIFA Football Awards™ 2025 will be revealed at a special gala event in Doha, Qatar, on Tuesday, 16 December 2025. The ceremony will be broadcast live on FIFA.com from 20:00 local time (18:00 CET).
The awards will be presented on the eve of the FIFA Intercontinental Cup Qatar 2025™ final between Paris Saint-Germain and CR Flamengo, taking place at Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium. The FIFA Celebration 2025 Dinner will be held at Fairmont Katara Hall, where the world’s top football players and coaches of 2025 will be honoured. Prior to the gala, FIFA will release digital announcements recognising the best fans, goalkeepers, and goals, as well as the recipient of the FIFA Fair Play Award, across its official platforms and social media channels.
The event will host approximately 800 guests, including FIFA President, members of the FIFA Council, FIFA Legends, representatives from Member Associations worldwide, and other ambassadors and key figures in football.
Fans have played a significant role in determining the winners, casting over 16 million votes across multiple categories. These include The Best FIFA Women’s Player, The Best FIFA Men’s Player, The Best FIFA Women’s Coach, The Best FIFA Men’s Coach, The Best FIFA Women’s Goalkeeper, and The Best FIFA Men’s Goalkeeper. Winners in these categories are determined by an equally weighted voting system, which combines votes from fans, current captains and coaches of women’s and men’s national teams, and selected media representatives.
In addition, fans participated in selecting The Best FIFA Women’s 11 and The Best FIFA Men’s 11. Voting for the FIFA Marta Award and the FIFA Puskás Award, recognising the best goals in women’s and men’s football, was shared equally between fans and a panel of FIFA Legends. The FIFA Fan Award is decided entirely by fan votes, while the FIFA Fair Play Award is chosen by an expert panel.
Football supporters worldwide can watch the full ceremony live and free on FIFA.com from 20:00 local time (18:00 CET) on 16 December.
