Now that the applications for the Third Round of the National Drag Racing Championship, which is happening between Thursday, the 4th of July and Saturday, the 6th of July, have closed, the Malta Drag Racing Association (MDRA) announced that a record number of sixty-two vehicles are registered. Summer Shootout is sponsored by Ladmu Chassis Builder and Enemed, promising a grand scale of excitement.

As we gear up for the third national championship round, the competition is set to intensify. From the four-cylinder, six-cylinder, and methanol-powered dragsters to a diverse range of cars and motorcycles, all classes will be present. This ensures there’s something for every drag racing enthusiast.
The MDRA is unwavering in its commitment to enhancing the drivers’ safety and the spectators’ overall experience. To this end, they are significantly increasing the lighting on the raceway. In addition to the thrilling race cars, they bring a spectacular drifting show by the Malta Drifting Club and the internationally renowned Maltese precision driving team, Team Maximum Lock.
The third round of the National Drag Racing Championship in the evenings of the 4th, 5th, and 6th of July is guaranteed an even better experience than previous editions and should not be missed. Tickets will be available at the gate from four in the afternoon onwards.
