Top driver Duncan Micallef continues to impress in European Drag Racing Championships

This weekend, Maltese Top Fuel Drag Racing Driver Duncan Micallef finished 2nd to Jndia Erbacher, who clinched her first-ever victory in the 4th Round of the FIA European Drag Racing Championship. This historic win occurred at the Top Fuel final of the NitrOlympX, at the Rico Anthes Quartermile of the Hockenheim Ring, in front of a massive crowd of over 54,000 spectators.

Micallef and Susanne Callin are the only drivers who raced all the rounds of this championship. Micallef is still leading with 227 points, followed by Callin with 192 points, and now, Erbacher with 168 points.

The 5th Round, the last and final race that will seal the FIA European Drag Racing Championship, is set for the weekend of the 8th of September in Santa Pod in the United Kingdom. The anticipation for this race is reaching a fever pitch as it will determine the ultimate champion.

Maltese Tuner Simon Giordmaina, a key Italian Carbonera Racing team member in the FIM Europe Drag Racing Championship, faced a series of unfortunate events. They showed remarkable resilience and determination despite the setback of breaking two engines.
