The Maltese national teams enjoyed a strong day at the Blackball Nations Cup in Bridlington, winning six out of the seven matches played. These results put the teams in a good position to move on to the more decisive stages of the tournament.
The Men’s A team kept up their good form with a solid 19-6 win over Australia A. The Men’s B team also picked up a 16-9 victory against Northern Ireland B, but later lost 14-11 to Scotland B.
The Masters team had a great day too, claiming two wins — 16-9 against Australia A and 14-11 against Northern Ireland A.
The Seniors team were also in top form, beating Catalonia A 19-6 and Northern Ireland B 17-8.
