Maltese blackball teams end commitments in the Nations Cup 2024

The Maltese national Blackball teams ended their commitments in the Nations Cup 2024 held in Bridlington, England.

The Maltese men’s B team and the seniors managed to reach the semi-finals in their respective competition although they were unlucky not to reach the decisive final.

The men’s B team first beat England B1 11-10 in the quarter finals but in the last four they were beaten by England B 11-9 despite producing a gutsy display.

On the other hand, the Seniors won 13-9 against Ireland in order to advance to the semi-finals. Consequently they had to face Scotland but they lost 13-9.

Meanwhile, the men’s A team were eliminated in the quarter-finals after losing 13-10 to Ireland while the Masters lost to Northern Ireland 13-8.

Meanwhile the Maltese under 18 and under 23 teams will be traveling to Bridlington tonight to compete in their respective category.

The under 23 team is managed by Robert Attard with the players being Daniel Vella, Liam Mifsud, Deacon Formosa, Christian Spiteri, Matthias Debono and Casdy Vella.

On the other hand, the under 18 team will be led by Roderick Tanti who will have with him Jake Castaldi, Chaylon Castaldi, Nordai Desira, Nick Muscat, Steven Muscat and Denzel Falzon.
