Day three of the European Blackball Championships in Ennis, Ireland, brought more strong results for Malta, as the national teams continued to perform well across several categories.
In the morning session, the Malta U23 A team battled hard to edge past England U23 1 in a thrilling 13-12 victory. The young Maltese players showed great focus and determination to come out on top in a tense finish.
The Malta U15 A side also recorded a good win, beating England U15 A 9-6. Meanwhile, the Malta Grand Masters A team secured a narrow 8-7 victory over Wales Grand Masters A after another exciting match.
Later in the day, the Under-15s kept their unbeaten run going with a commanding 11-4 win against Scotland U15 A. The Under-23s continued their excellent form too, claiming a dominant 20-5 victory over Ireland U23 2 to strengthen their position in the tournament.
In the Seniors event, the Malta Seniors B team put up a strong fight but were beaten 17-8 by a more experienced England Seniors B side.
