As the Malta Blackball Federation season draws to a thrilling close, all eyes turn to the finals of the Cisk Premier League, Challenge League, and Regional League. With semi-finals concluded, the best teams from across the divisions are preparing for a final showdown at the prestigious Juventus Club.
In the Premier League semi-final Cospicua Rangers A face off against Ħamrun 147 B in a best-of-40 frames encounter to be held on Wednesday 28 May and Friday 30 May. The winners will meet Ħamrun 147 A, who secured a direct spot in the final, on Friday 6 June. The final promises to be a high-octane duel featuring the best of Maltese blackball talent, with the title of Premier League champions at stake.
In the Challenge League, Ħamrun 147 C will face Selmun Sports Club A in their semi-final to be held on May 28th and 30th. The winner will join JoJo’s Birżebbuġa, who are already confirmed finalists, for the Thursday 5 June final. The matchup will be played over 20 frames, offering a compact but fierce fight for the Challenge League crown.
The Regional League decisive phase kicks-off with a preliminary playoff between Qormi Pinto and Cospicua Rangers B on May 21 and 23. The winner will then move on to meet San Ġwann Tiki Taka A in the semi-finals on May 28 and 30. The team advancing from that battle will then clash with Qormi Anici Boys in the grand final on Wednesday 4 June.
All matches start at 7:30 pm, with the iconic Juventus Club hosting the finals.
