Jojo’s Birzebbuġa are first in the National Blackball league table when they got ten points from four games while they are keeping a three point advantage over their closest rivals Hamrun 147 A who have a game in hand.
During this week they ended in a 10-10 draw against the same Hamrun side in a very entertaining game. In more matches, Hamrun 147 C beat Domus Kids Zejtun 11-5 while Selmun Sports Club A beat Hamrun 147 B with the same score.
On the other hand, title challengers Cospicua Rangers A beat San Ġwann Boċċi 11-7.
In the Regional League, the most consistent team is Qormi Anici Boys who have obtained maximum points from four games. They beat San Ġwann Tiki Taka B 11-7 to keep their perfect record.
In second place is Qormi Pinto who also won against Birkirkara Juve 11-4. Birkirkara Boċċi and Cospicua Rangers B also got three points, beating Qormi Anici Lions (11-6) and Qormi Anici Stars (11-3) respectively.
In group A of the Community League, PL Balzan have maximum points after beating PL Floriana 11-4. San Ġwann Tiki Taka C and Selmun Sports Club B achieved identical victories of 11-5 against Siġġiewi Montekristo and Attard Scorpions respectively. Finally Qormi Anici Cappadocia beat Zebbug St Joseph 11-9.
In group B of the Community League, Qormi Anici Calleja Ltd have nine points from three games and are topping the table. They defeated Gzira Titans 11-7.
Meanwhile San Ġwann Tiki Taka D and Selmun Sports Club C had similar victories of 11-6 against Qormi San Bastjan Boċċi and Mrieħel Billiard House respectively.
