The Los Angeles Clippers team continued its great series of victories in the State Farm Arena, defeating home team Atlanta with a score of 113:120.
It was very exciting at the very start of the match. The teams took turns in the lead, but in the end, the Hawks gained some kind of advantage – it was 28:22.
The visitors from Los Angeles played brilliantly and played much better in the sequel, leading at halftime after two periods with a score of 53:58.
After the break, the Hawks played a little better and managed to reduce the deficit before the last part, the result was 28:26.
However, in the last 12 minutes, the Clippers played at their recognized level, and did not allow the opponent a single chance to turn things around. In the end, the score was 113:120, and so the Clippers got revenge on Atlanta for the defeat on their floor from the beginning of the month.
Kawhi Leonard was the most efficient player in his team, with 32 points, eight rebounds and four assists. Paul George added 23 points, with seven rebounds and six assists, and Ivica Zubac added 18 points, with six rebounds and three assists.
On the other side, Jang led the home team with 31 points and 10 assists. Collins added 16 points, Murray 15, with eight assists and six rebounds. Hunter recorded one less, with seven rebounds, and Capela reached a double-double performance with 12 points and 13 rebounds.
Atlanta is eighth in the East with 25 wins and losses, while the Clippers are fourth in the West with 28 wins and 24 losses.
