The Portland Trail Blazers fired their general manager Neil Olshey after it was determined that he violated the code of conduct.
An interesting fact is that the Blazers hired another company to conduct an investigation into the general manager. The result of that investigation is the dismissal of Neil Olshey.
Portland said in a statement that it would not further discuss the internal investigation, and ESPN, which recently launched a story about the owner of Phoenix Sans, Robert Sarver, had a great influence on this development. Following this story, the NBA League decided to launch an investigation against the owner of the team from Arizona.
The Blazers have promoted Joe Cronin, the current director of player staff, as interim general manager.
Apparently, we can expect serious changes in Portland’s playing staff next summer.
