Olympiacos won the 13th round of the Euroleague away in Kazan with the result 87:84.
We watched a fantastic match in Russia, and the guests basketball players managed to win. The match could very easily have ended with the victory of UNICS, but the host did not have the strength to break the match.
Olympiacos had the last attack in the regular course of the game, but they did not manage to realize it, so they went into overtime. In extra time, we saw one chaotic game of both teams, and the main impression is that the players were too tired.
Both teams acted quite disorganized in overtime, but Olympiakos achieved a triumph thanks to Vezenkov and Sloukas. Mario Hezonja had the opportunity to take the game to the second overtime, but he failed to score a shot for three points.
The most efficient in the winning team was Sasa Vezenkov with 22 points, Sloukas added 12, and Fall and Larentzakis added 10 points each.
Lorenzo Brown scored 21 points for UNICS, Keinan one less, and Mario Hezonja and John Brown added 11 points each.
In the next round of the Euroleague, Olympiacos will play against the Red Star, and UNICS will play against Maccabi.
